Service Description

A bespoke 9 month course for young people aged 14-25 who have the passion and aptitude to become dance teachers, choreographers, producers and mentors for their peers. Participants receive specialist training in how to teach dance within their communities and beyond, with additional learning in community work, mental health, how to choreograph, produce an event and set up their own companies. The course also features regular guest workshops with expert professional dancers, teachers and producers, for example UnkleTC (HomeBrosUK) and Kloe Dean (Myself Dance). Participants complete their own teaching placement, and receive a Level 2 Dance Leadership qualification with Sports Leaders UK.
